Essie: Too Too Hot

I'm currently loving (and wearing!) Essie's "Too Too Hot" polish

It's such a perfect summer color; a sweet mix of red and coral.  Plus, with the recent heat wave that's been hitting the East Coast, the name is pretty spot-on.

What are your favorite summer nail colors?  Do you ever pick polish based on its cute name?

  1. Ooooh! That looks amazing I might need to add it to my collection. My favorite summer colors are hot pinks like OPI's I'm India Mood for Love
I have picked a polish based on the name but I typically loved it as well and the name was a bonus.

If I'm ever stuck between two similar colors, I always pick the one with the better name! I wish I could meet the people who create those names. Love the color above. It's perfect for this hot hot summer.

  5. I am obsessed with Essie, the polish lasts forever and I adore the names. I am currently loving French Affair and Lollipop as evidenced here http://hauteamericana.com/2011/06/candy-coating/#more-731

  7. I love Essie! They really do have the cutest possible names. Turquoise and Caicos is my favorite summer color, and I recently picked up Coat Azure, which is a gorgeous blue color.
And seriously - this East Coast heatwave is too much (it really is too too hot!).
